Hello! I'm Tytia, a central Illinois based photographer who specializes in portraiture, lifestyle and documentary photography.
I received two separate university degrees, neither of which are photography related. Such is life. You never know where it will take you! The majority of my adult life I spent living in the Cayman Islands but moved back a few years ago to be close to family.
Growing up on a farm at the edge of a woods gave me a great appreciation for the world around me. I roamed wherever I pleased, built forts in the woods, picked wildflowers in the pasture and caught craw-daddies in the crick. I have a great love for the outdoors and beautiful mother nature, and can usually be found out of doors. My son is taking over the jobs of fort building and craw-daddy hunting, but I'll never give up the picking of wildflowers.
On any given day, you could find me doing the following things: sipping copious amounts of either hot or iced tea, I love them both equally, running, looking at the sky, gardening, hibernating, not taking myself too seriously, reading, being entertained by an exuberant son, entertaining an exuberant son, chasing cats, attending auctions, and my favorite, daydreaming.
